Sodium silicate solid powder is produced by milling solid silicate to a defined particle size, giving a high-solids dry material that dissolves more gradually than spray-dried powder. That slower profile is useful wherever silicate must become available over time rather than instantly.
It suits dry blends and site-mixed systems in which the silicate acts progressively — refractory and construction mixes, slow-release cleaning blocks and certain foundry preparations.
