Sodium metasilicate nonahydrate carries nine molecules of water of hydration, giving the softest handling profile of the metasilicate family: low dust, low heat of solution and very fast dissolution even in cold water.
It suits formulations dosed by hand or in open plants, and cleaning systems where the material must dissolve immediately without the exotherm of anhydrous grades.
