A workhorse silicate solution, made to your ratio.
Sodium silicate liquid — commonly called water glass — is produced by dissolving sodium silicate glass under steam and pressure, then clarifying and adjusting the solution to the required ratio and solids. Pricetech Chem LLP manufactures the glass in-house, so the silica-to-alkali ratio you approve is set at the furnace rather than corrected later.
The grade is selected by its SiO₂ : Na₂O ratio and solids content: higher-ratio grades favour binding, film formation and silica chemistry, while lower-ratio alkaline grades favour detergency, saponification and cleaning power.
Ratio made to order
Neutral and alkaline grades adjusted to the ratio your process window needs.
Clarified solution
Filtration removes insolubles that would otherwise foul nozzles, screens and filters.
Strong binding
Forms a hard, heat-resistant inorganic bond on drying — no organic solvent involved.
Bulk logistics
Road tanker, drum or carboy dispatch from our Padra unit.
