Sodium silicate powder is the dried form of silicate solution, supplied as a readily soluble free-flowing powder. It gives formulators the binding, buffering and alkalinity of liquid silicate in a dry material that can be blended, bagged and shipped without tanker logistics.
It is the natural choice for dry-mix products — powder detergents, tile and grout compounds, welding-electrode coatings and dry cleaning blends — where added water would compromise shelf life or set time.
