A specialty silicate for demanding surfaces.
Lithium silicate solution is a specialty alkali silicate in which lithium replaces sodium or potassium as the alkali. The result is a binder that films readily, resists efflorescence and performs where water resistance and hardness matter more than cost.
It is specified for inorganic zinc-rich primers, concrete floor densifiers and hardeners, and refractory or heat-resistant coating systems.
Low efflorescence
Reduced surface bloom compared with sodium silicate binders.
Hard, water-resistant film
Cures to a dense inorganic film with good moisture resistance.
Heat resistance
Suitable for high-temperature and refractory coating systems.
Concrete densification
Reacts within the concrete matrix to harden and dust-proof the surface.
